Choosing a Parasol from the Pagoda Deluxe Range will protect you and your family from the damaging UV radiation from the sun, and help make memories this summer in your garden, patio or balcony. The Pagoda 3m Aluminium Deluxe Overhanging Taupe Parasol is the perfect parasol to meet your summer shading needs.

Please Note: Parasols in general must be secured in a suitable parasol base. Remember to close and remove parasols & cantilever parasols in windy/gusty conditions, and throughout winter. We cannot accept liability for damage caused by tables toppling or buckling due to such weather conditions. If parasols get wet, leave them open to dry out. We suggest that all parasols & cantilever parasols are carefully taken down and stored when not in use. If the canopy becomes dirty from being left outside, do NOT remove the fabric to wash. Simply use a soapy sponge and gently hose. Parasols should not be used as umbrellas.

If You Change Your Mind

We will willingly refund or offer an exchange on any unused product returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with manuals, accessories, and in its original packaging. You will also need to provide proof of purchase (receipt and/or dispatch note)

Returns of orders through An Post are facilitated through returnmyshopping.ie We are listed on their website. An Post can arrange a collection from your door. Please contact them directly as they have a simple and easy process for returns.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please note you must notify us within 7 days of receipt of your order. The item must be returned with all packing materials, manuals and accessories intact.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Return a Large Bulky Item

For the purposes of this returns policy, a “large bulky item” means any item that is over 25kg. However some items may be classed as large or bulky items even if they weigh less than 25kg due to the product dimensions, e.g. garden furniture sets, barbecues, gazebos, etc. The following applies should you wish to return a large item:

If you are unhappy with your large item, you may return it to us within 14 days of the date of delivery. The item must be in its original condition, with all packaging materials, manuals and accessories intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns or to charge you for our reasonable cost if the product is received otherwise than in accordance with these requirements. You are responsible to pay the cost of returning the goods and must ensure that it is returned in protective packaging. Please email customerservice@mcds.ie if you wish to return a large item.
