To Chit or not to chit
Chitting is a method of preparing seed potatoes for planting. It involves placing the seed potatoes in a tray, e.g. an egg carton, in a dry and cool place shielded from direct sunlight, allowing shoots to grow. This speeds up the growth. The only downside is, if there is a late frost you could lose some of your roots and shoots.
